Melissa Lockhart is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 25 years of experience delivering compassionate, patient-centered care across diverse clinical settings. Her approach to medicine is rooted in a deep respect for the individual, with an emphasis on empowering patients through education, trust, and continuity of care.

Melissa earned both her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from The University of Texas at Arlington. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and has served in a wide range of clinical environments, including family medicine, urgent care, addiction medicine, and rural health. Her experience caring for underserved and aging populations has further strengthened her commitment to holistic, relationship-based care.

Melissa is especially passionate about supporting older adults in managing chronic conditions and achieving sustainable lifestyle improvements. She believes that healthcare should be accessible, personalized, and delivered with cultural humility and compassion.
