Flagship Health was born out of an idea to connect senior veterans and their spouses to outstanding healthcare, while fostering a true sense of community amongst veterans and their families. Members of Flagship Health enjoy primary care and wellness services created by fellow veterans. Unique to crafting this model is Flagship Health’s focus on the experience our members receive.

Flagship Health works tirelessly to reduce barriers to healthcare and wellness services – providing the right care, in the right space, at the right time. To do this, we are excited to announce the launch of our mobile clinic.

Our mobile clinic is equipped with two patient exam rooms, medical providers, and clinical staff that provide a wide range of primary care services to senior veterans and their spouses. Additionally, the mobile clinic is equipped with a full suite of technological capabilities, allowing for coordination of services between our members and specialty care providers.

The mobile clinic provides a variety of benefits:

1. Increased Access to Healthcare Services. Our mobile clinic helps us come closer to our members. This creates a personalized experience that aligns with each member’s unique schedule.

2. Convenience. Flagship Health is designed to conveniently meet members where they are, reducing barriers to health care. Simple parking and ease of use are key tenets of the Flagship Health model.

3. Increased Community. Our mobile clinic goes to where members are. We are at multiple events and meetings at Veteran Service Organizations (VSOs) across the San Antonio region. This promotes the sense of community enjoyed by senior veterans and their spouses, allowing them to all receive primary care where they normally go.

4. Improved Benefits. One of the core principles of Flagship Health is working to ensure senior veterans and their spouses receive the benefits they have earned. Our mobile clinic will enroll members into our model – Allowing us to help each individual optimize all disability and social service benefits they are owed.
